The Home Depot has officially opened its newest North Texas location in Celina, marking another exciting milestone in the city’s continued commercial growth.
Located at 3234 S. Preston Road, the new Home Depot is part of the company’s 2026 U.S. expansion and represents a significant investment in one of the fastest-growing communities in North Texas. The 136,000-square-foot store is expected to create more than 100 local jobs while providing Celina residents, businesses and professional contractors with convenient access to home improvement products and services.
The Celina store, Store #6535, is one of 12 new Home Depot locations planned across the United States in 2026 as the company expands to serve communities experiencing residential growth and increased demand for home maintenance and improvement.
Designed for Celina’s Growing Community
The new store includes several features designed to serve both do-it-yourself customers and professional contractors. Customers will find specialty showrooms, flexible checkout areas, updated merchandising displays and a larger garden center.
The location also offers expanded storage for Buy Online, Pick Up in Store orders, a full-service tool rental center with professional-grade equipment and a dedicated Pro team. New technology and services, including AI-powered blueprint takeoffs, are also available to help professional customers plan and complete projects more efficiently.
Meet Celina’s Store Manager
Leading the new Celina team is Rachel, who brings 18 years of experience with The Home Depot to the community. She began her career with the company as a part-time cashier and advanced through several Department Supervisor and Assistant Store Manager positions before becoming Store Manager of the Celina location.
Rachel shared that she is especially excited about building the culture of the new store, developing associates and creating a team focused on making a positive impact on customers and the Celina community.

The opening adds another major national retailer to Celina’s expanding commercial landscape and provides additional shopping options closer to home for the city’s rapidly growing population.
