Celina Parks & Recreation's mission is to enrich the lives of community members by maintaining high quality facilities to host unrivaled recreational sport opportunities and unforgettable special events. The department strives to deepen the community's understanding of "Life Connected." in the context of physical and mental wellness and to uphold strong Celina traditions that are a cornerstone of the city's appeal.

Old Celina Park

Old Celina Park is the "Jewel" of the Parks & Rec Department and hosts several of our annual events. The park consists of:

  • Two 12 & under Baseball Fields

  • One 13 & up Baseball Field

  • One Softball Field

  • Large Multipurpose Fields with Soccer Goals & Backstops

  • Large Pavilion

  • Playground

  • Picnic Tables & Charcoal Grills

  • Fishing Pond

  • Walking Trails

Founders Station Park

Founders Station Park is conveniently located just a block away from the Square in Downtown Celina. This park is heavily shaded by trees and consists of:

  • One Concrete Basketball Court

  • One Tennis Court

  • Small Playground

  • Small Gazebo

  • Horseshoe Pits

Celina Youth & Adult SportsĀ 

Our supportive community and hard-working culture yield themselves well to athletic competition. The City of Celina Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of sports programming for children and adults. Programs include flag football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, kickball and pickleball.

Ralph O'Dell Senior Center

Ralph O'Dell Senior Center, which is located at 410 E Main St., is newly built and nearly 5,000 square feet, constructed to accommodate our senior population as our community continues to grow.

Center Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 9AM - 5PM
Friday, 9AM-3PM
Closed Saturday and Sunday

Private Fitness Studios

The City of Celina supports a variety of fitness and wellness centers. These establishments offer diverse programs, promoting physical activity, mental well-being, and social interaction.
